Taylors holds a special place in Green Hill Fence history. Our very first aluminum install was on Old Batson Rd in Taylors many years ago. But a lot has changed in Taylors over the past 30 years from a fence building perspective. It used to be that Taylors began and ended at Pebble Creek. And we still do lots of new installs in and around the Pebble Creek area. But the Taylors market has grown significantly. Oak Branch Estates near Pebble Creek is a new neighborhood that is keeping us busy. The west side of Lake Robinson is a Taylors address. We have done a couple dozen aluminum fences in Lakeside on Lake Robinson. Blue Ridge Crossing is another all aluminum neighborhood where we have done a bunch of installs. And just up the road we had the chance to build an all black vinyl fence for a customer in Waters Edge in Taylors. Black vinyl fencing is extremely expensive and difficult to source, but it looks great! We have several great installs in Silver Meadows off Sandy Flat Rd. Those are all aluminum fences plus a cool horizontal wood fence on Enoree Farm Way.
Taylors is another city that is significantly larger than most people would expect. It includes some Northern Greenville County neighborhoods like The Sanctuary as well as lots of large estate homes in the country. Taking a glance at our past installs we are seeing large farm fences on Camp Creek, Chastain Hill, and Reid School roads. Then you also have a lot of older neighborhoods near The Pavilion where we are tearing out rotting wood fences and putting in new vinyl fencing. It surprised us, but outside of Greenville and Greer, Taylors has actually been our busiest market the past couple of years. We expect that trend to continue as Taylors continues to grow (if zoning will allow it).
There really aren’t a lot of rules and regulations for building fences in Taylors like there are in some other cities. So for the most part anything goes. You still need to keep your fence under seven feet in order to build without a permit.
