Clemson, SC Fence Installation Company
It is always fun to quote new fence installations in Clemson. The owner of Green Hill Fence is a 2007 graduate of Clemson. It’s nice to see what all is new in Clemson when we are up that way, and boy are there a lot of new things! We are about as physically close to Clemson as any Greenville address can be. Our fence warehouse is at the intersection of highways 123 and 25. So we can get to Clemson in about 35 minutes, which means we don’t charge a fuel surcharge for Clemson installs like some of our competitors who are further away.
The majority of our fence work in Clemson tends to be commercial chain link and security fencing for new buildings or aluminum fencing for new pools. We occasionally do some wood fences where someone is tearing out an old fence and replacing it. There are a lot of new neighborhoods around Clemson, but very few of them actually have a Clemson address.
It has been our experience that any house that does have a Clemson address is going to need a permit and building license for a new fence. In fact, the City of Clemson has someone who drives around full time looking for fence (and other building projects) to confirm you do have your work permit. The permit doesn’t cost much, but they will shut you down if you aren’t working an approved project. Green Hill has all the necessary licenses, insurances, and legal requirements to get any fence permit in Clemson.
We do offer a small fence discount for Clemson University staff and alumni. Ask us about that for more info.
